Woodfield Bowls Club was founded in 1952, although our origins date back to 1912 ( see the History page ).
We welcome players of all ages, from novice to county standard, and are fortunate to have two coaches to help improve your game.. So why not contact us to arrange a visit to the club for a taster session, or one of the many Social evenings we run throughout the year

The League was founded in 1913 and now comprises of 24 Clubs, within a 12 mile radius of Stowmarket.
Member of English Bowling Federation
The English Bowling Federation was formed in 1945, although the grass roots of the Federation may well be traced back some 53 years earlier to the North-East of England
